Standardized Testing

The Academy uses the NWEA – MAP Growth standardized assessment program which is administered to grade 2 to 8 students three times within the academic year.  This online secure testing system not only measures what a student knows but also what they are able to learn next. The timely reports provide quick feedback to help our teachers and their students. We continue to use the NWEA-MAP Growth assessment to best support students in their individual needs. The MAP assessments has been particularly helpful to support the identification of learning gaps and to assist students as they continue to learn and grow.

Please find the Parent Quick Guide linked here. The guide explains how the MAP assessment works, what is measures and how it can be most useful to teachers, parents and students.
