  • Halloween News:
On Monday, October 31, 2011 we will celebrate Halloween.
The following information does not apply to Pre-K. Pre-K will have their own Halloween celebration.
Grades K through 8 will have a normal scheduled day in the morning and celebrate Halloween in the afternoon. All Students in grades K-8 will wear their gym uniforms and bring their Halloween costumes. (LABEL ALL PIECES of the gym uniform and the Halloween costume with your child's name on it.)
After lunch the students will change into their costumes in the classrooms. The costume should fit easily over the gym shorts and shirt and be easy for the child to put on by themselves. Class parents and teachers will be present, but with limited time it is best if the students can dress themselves. Masks are not permitted while the students are walking.
At 1:00pm the students will assemble in the gym in their costume. The students will exit out of the gym doors in the rear of the building and parade through our parking lot, around the building to the Nursing Home across the street, then return to school through the main entrance.
The students will return to their classroom after the parade for planned activities and dismiss at our normal time, 3:00pm.
We recommend not bringing candy to school, as it is difficult to know if the candy was processed in a nut free factory.
Reminder to Class Parents: If your teacher requested a treat, we ask that you follow the nut free policy and bring all snacks to the Nurse's Office before going to class.
    Thank you and Happy Halloween!
